| 2006 County Wexford Community Arts Network (CWCAN) Programme |

Established by the Arts Dept of Wexford County Council in
January of this year, the County Wexford Community Arts Network Programme
(CWCAN) is aimed at providing easy and inclusive access to the arts for
young people. It also creates an opportunity for young people to interact
with artists and participate in and engage with high quality arts and cultural
activities in their own local community. As part of this programme, Myriad
Dance will facilitate four week long dance residencies from the 17th July
- 11th August to four different community groups. These groups are: Taghmon Action Group Ard Aoibhinn/ Co. Wexford Youth Dance Rathanagan Parish Hall Community Bunclody Co Wexford Partnership Each dance residency will cater for different age groups, and will involve fun and experimental workshops working off a number of themes and ideas specific to that group, resulting with an end of week performance.
