Ella Clarke has been working on a duet for two women; with dance artists
Aine Stapleton and Jessica Kennedy from Myriad Dance, since April 2005.
"This piece began from home; the nearest point of perceivable structure in my reality and a place of origin and destination simultaneously. How fixed is my perception of structure if I choose to perceive my body as my home and as a 73 trillion cellular configuration simultaneously? Adaptation of a Meeting acknowledges the adaptations I make in the act of meeting. Meeting another, meeting the moment, meeting an understanding, meeting structure." Ella Clarke 2005 This new work premiered in June at the *DanCelebration 2005 - Northern Arizona Festival in Flagstaff.
